Verse of Silence officially presents its first-ever online Novel Writing Workshop. The workshop will be
taken by our Founder and Editor-in-chief Kavya Sharma. The 3-hour long workshop intends to provide
you with the tips and tricks of writing a novel. From the very basics of conceptualizing an idea to writing
the beginnings, ends, plot, structure, theme, genre, narration, dialogues, point of view etc. Everything
along with some fun exercises will be covered in this workshop.

Duration of the workshop – 3 Hours
Timing- 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Day - We are taking 3 batches in total, for now, you can select the date of your preference in the google form

About Kavya Sharma
Kavya is an author, poet and editor. In terms of Novels, Kavya has two individual books to her name i.e.
To Naddiyaa and The Carmine Memories and is about to release her 3 rd book in the year 2020. She has
edited over 20 novels/books till date and has conceptualized and worked on various commissioned
projects and anthology projects such as The 7 Transgressions, A Map Called Home, Poetry in Pamphlets,
The Pink Commandoes, From Being Chained to being the Change, etc. Her poems/stories have been
featured in over 30 online and offline magazines. Two of her audio stories are on Audible Suno App.
She has mentored over 500 students through her online workshops till now and has taken Creative
Writing/Novel Writing workshops for various schools/colleges and publishing houses in and around
Delhi. Kavya has been featured and interviewed by various newspapers including The Asian News,
Deccan Chronicle, The Sunday Guardian, Zoom Delhi, The Himachal Times, Women Era Magazine, etc.
She has been awarded the 100 Most Inspiring Authors of India in the year 2018, Author of The Year 2019
by NE8X and Certificate of Recognition in Women’s Literature by She Foreword.
